Testing the Aurora Firefly for a studio portrait

The Aurora Firefly is a mobile soft-box which can be attached to most flash units. I used it in combination with a flash from analog times, most probably 30 years old which was set to be triggered by the light (of another flash). That flash was a Nissin i40 on top of a Sony α7 using a Canon nFD 85mm 1:1.8.

Time to physically set-up: 2 minutes, time to set-up (measure) exposure: 2 minutes – result: priceless 🙂

Sony Alpha 7, ISO 100, Canon nFD 85mm 1:1.8 @ f2.0, 1/250s
